Carol Rose Little and Charlotte Friedman, translators of From Lightning’s Strike by Juana Karen Peñate, will be taking the poetry on the road this month.

At each event, the translators will read from the book and also discuss the translators’ art, the Mayan Ch’ol language, and take audience questions. Copies of the book will be available.

The first event is on Wednesday April 15th Meadow Market Books in Tulsa, OK. The event starts at 5pm.
