Bring your books to sell. If you are a publisher, let us know, and we’ll set up a table for your press at the readings. If enough participants are interested, we can do a small book fair.

Before, after or during the workshop, take advantage of the beautiful Catskills/Hudson Valley region.

  • Charming downtown Woodstock is about 1 mile from Byrdcliffe – lots to see and do, including Woodstock’s own movie theatre, restaurants, musical performances, galleries and museums. Historic Kingston and Saugerties are nearby, and many other interesting small towns.
  • Hiking, sightseeing
  • Numerous concerts of all genres, theatrical performances, art galleries within half-hour drive
  • New York City is less than 3 hours away by public transportation
  • (No, the concert did not happen here – it took place in Bethel, about 1 hour southwest.)
